Location: Fairmont Pacific Rim, 1038 Canada Place, Vancouver, BC V6C 0B9
This cafe offers drinks, pastries, pizza and sandwiches.
What brought me to this cafe were the cake bars. Cake in the form of a ice cream bar. I tried out their Raspberry Crunch Cake Bar $8. It was really good, the first bite melted in my mouth.
Then there’s a nice crispy crunchy layer with oozing raspberry in it too. The Lemon Meringue Tart was decent but nothing amazing/unique.
My second visit, we got the Sugar Bun with blueberry mojito cream filling. I really liked the bun with the sugar coating but wasn’t a big fan of the minty taste. The Berry Cassis Cake was like a berry pudding on the outside with a sponge cake on the inside. I enjoyed this cake much more than the Sugar Bun. It’s also very detailed and pretty.
The cafe also offers a little popup shop on the side of the walls with cute merchandises and baby things being sold.
There is a Sugarfina shop in here too! I love their candies but they are expensive. $11 each for the little boxes. I’ve already tried 7 different candies from here already and have been loving them all.
This time I decided to try out the Parisian Pineapples. These pineapple gummies were too cute to pass off on. They tasted like a solid marshmallow pineapple.
I like this place because it’s a cafe with a popup shop that you can browse after your meal. It is also nice and peaceful with delicious baked goods.
